I t isn't so much if the Dr will accept medicare as it is, does medicare approve of the Dr. The clinic has to be certified as a "Center of Excellence" in bariatric surgery for medicare to pay. They work hard to get the certification so if they tell you they don't accept medicare, they are just not admitting that they aren't good enough for medicare to pay.
