Hi,everyone. I'm new to this site. I have an appointment for a lap band seminar Feb.26. I'm very excited,and hoping this will change my life. I've had problems with my weight for 10 years,before that,none at all. I have some health problems,and from what I have read,this surgury could help those improve as well. Could someone explain to me how this works,as far as being approved? Thank you.:smile2:

In my experience...every state, doctor, clinic, insurance...everyone is different. Some doctors require certain pre-req's, insurance companies require certain pre-req's as well.

My advice to to contact your insurance company and doctor and follow exactly what they suggest.
