Newbie having SX this friday

I am scared out of my mind.. I am nervous and worried.. I guess all the feeling you have prior to a surgery:confused:.After reading different posts I worry about problems after wards too.I have been overweight for the past 13 years I need to drop 165 lbs and after trying everything this is my last option.I am also excited at the new beginning and look forward to canceling my subscription to lane bryant magazine:tongue:

I cant wait for the end result.... Just scared of the beginning.

Hi Stacy!

Welcome to the forum! Let me start by saying that what you are feeling is totally normal! I had the same exact feelings you are having. I was banded on 1/14 and for me it was tough for the first week or so, but then it gets better everyday! By about a week post-op I was good as new. Just keep thinking about the end result! You will do great!
