I have had one meeting with the surgeon, I meet all the requirements. I have appt scheduled next week for my psych elevation. Kinda worried about several things, such as how much the insurnce will actually cover. (Aetna)the true recovery time. And I really, really don't want another "failure". Considering not telling anyone outside immediate family until after its done. The few people I have told have been very negative about it.

I believe the surgeons at KDMC first trained with the docs in Charleston (when learning how to do WLS) and they have great outcomes. So I would say you would be fine. Is the center in Ch'ton a center of excellence?? A COE has less to do with the surgeons and more to do with overall program. If your insurance requires a COE I know KDMC is accredited as one.
