Anyone Gain Weight?

I am 2 weeks out and in the first 10 days I lost 13 pounds now over the past 3 days I have gained 2.5 pounds back.....I have not changed what I am doing or eaten more, still on blended foods. Why would I gain weight eating so very little (less than 1000 calories per day) Maybe someone else went thru this...

Help!

It is very common. I lost 13 lb post op in the first 2 weeks, then didn't lose anything (actually gained) over the next 2 weeks until my first fill.

I had my first fill last Friday, and I've already began losing again.

Do don't let it get you down.

Thank you for telling me this....I was in tears and everything this morning. I felt like a failure and like this surgery was not going to work for me. I apprecaite you following up with me!!!

Smiles,

Hi

This did happen to me too. I lost like 20lbs in the first 2 weeks and ended up at the end of 5 weeks losing a total of about 14 lbs. But the Dr said that is normal. He said in the first 4 weeks patients lose about 12-14 lbs. I am at 8 weeks today and have lost 20 lbs.

Hope this helps...

From what I have read this is EXTREMELY common! I don't know why it happens but I can't even begin to count the people on this list that have posted about it. Don't worry, it will start to come off after you start getting fills.
