Perth Bandsters Get Together?

Would any of the Perth bandsters be interested in getting together for a dinner one night or lunch one day? I am only home in Perth every second week (work on the mines, one week on/one week off), but would love to catch up with some Perth bandsters when I am home.

Ideas for get togethers:

* Find a nice restaurant and all order an entree (and no-one has to feel odd because of that!)

* Have a Monthly Lunch or Dinner Party at someone's house, serving bandster style food and portions (everyone takes turns to host).

* Have a picnic in Kings Park, with a BYO picnic lunch

Hi new folks!

The get together (which I called for at the start of this thread nearly two years ago) never quite happened... *sigh* I guess we were all just a bit too busy at the time. However, if anyone is game for it, I'm still interested. I'm working full time back in Perth now (was doing FIFO to the mines before, which is why I was rarely available), so should be able to make most times.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to chat, drop me a line

Hi Tegan. Are you north or south of the river? I'm south, but willing to travel.

To all our other Perth bandsters, let's get our act together and make this happen!

Fanny,

I'm flat out at work and uni but I'm sure I can find time to meet with you, hun! As long as I get some advance notice, I can move things around a bit. I could maybe do lunch too if it's close to my workplace (East Perth)... :)

Okay folks, how about 2pm Saturday 29th August at my house? We could have tea/coffee and band-friendly munchies and say hi to each other... Or we could pick neutral ground out somewhere. I live in South Lake, just off the Kwinana Freeway, so very easy to get to. What do you all think?

I would be very interested in meeting up with any Perth bandsters after my mushie time is up... if this is going to happen again in future?? Has one happened yet?? I so need to meet some more people...

Well it hasn't happened so far - as you can see, I got no replies to the invitation post I made in August  Oh well...
