When I was first pregnant with dd#1, I was very constipated due to the Vitamins they had me on...The thing that did the trick for me (so to speak) was trail mix...I ate the nut/raisin/m&m variety...made me as regular as a horse...
So, since being banded, I am experiencing the same thing...I tried benfiber but saw no improvement. I've used colace, but that doesn't seem to do the trick either...plus I am wary of using a laxative very often...
This weekend, while at BJs, we bought a "healthy" trail mix..at least that is what they are touting it as... It's dried fruit, almonds and soybeans...It's quite tasty (not as tasty as the other one, though...) and so far so good.
HOWEVER...am I killing myself in calories? Each 1/4 cup is 100 calories... Is there something better that will work as quickly?
Thanks
Rain
