Happy New Year to all!!

HI I live in Dallas, TX and after a year of waiting I finally got approved by my insurance company to get thelap band. I still do not have a date. But I am really excited, something that seem so far away is getting closer which makes me a little nervous too.

Does anyone has any recomendations on how I should prepare myself (mostly emotionally) for the surgery and before the surgery?

I am still on the waiting game...but just waiting for insurance approval!

I thought it would never get here and after waiting forever, I was scheduled for Nov 1st, 2007. Geared up and ready to go and on OCtober 30th, got a call that my surgery had an emergency appendectomy himself and had to cancel. I was devastated. Waited it out and had it done Nove 30th, 2007 and doing great so far. Patty
