Finally

Hello Everyone I know it's been a long time since i've posted but, I was so frustrated with my band experience. I just didn't have much to say. We'll I got my port revised 02-10-05, went for followup appt 2-14-05 and discovered that not only did he revise my port he also gave me a fill, my fill was 1.5cc. I was wondering why i was feeling much different after surgery with my eating. I even had my first PB experience which wasn't very nice. But now I know why i was feeling so different. Now I can get on my journery of this weight loss experience. My initial weight the original day of surgery was 250 I am as of today 242. My original surgery date was 12-2-04. So i'm feeling a lot better about this band. I think that now that i've had my fill am i supposed to be doing liquids for a few days? I'm not quite sure. I now must really follow the banded rules. So wish me luck on this journey. I'll promise not be a stranger here any longer.

Fran - Glad you got that problem solved. My doctor has me do liquids the day of the fill only. He stresses back to solids the next day, however, many doctors have their patients do liquids for longer periods of time. You might want to check with him and see what he advises. This band will work! Congradulations on your weight loss!

Congratulations, Fran!!! I'm glad you're all fixed up now. Believe me, my own journey has been extremely frustrating so I know how you feel! Looking forward to hearing about your nsv's soon!!!
