Hello, my name is Carla. I was banded by Dr. Jose Rodriguez (Dr. Rod) in Acuna, Mexico in May of this year. I have lost 120 pounds and am about 40 pounds from goal weight. I have had no complications and have no regrets! I basically wanted to join this forum to chat with others when I have questions. For instance....I have hit a plateau of sorts and want some advice on what to do to get over it....I appreciate all advice and look forward to "meeting" new people.

Wow you have done an amazing job!!! 120 pounds!!!! I am sorry I can't answer your question as I am only 1 month into my banding but just wanted to say Welcome and well done!! Congrats to you and any words of advice to us newbie's.

120 pounds since May???? You want advice from us? I think that we should be getting advice from you...you have done a fantastic job. How did you do it so quickly? That is absolutely awesome. Congratulations and good luck with the last 40...you can do it!!!
