Surgery on Monday

My surgery is on Monday. I’ve started the clear liquid diet. I’m a little bit nervous because I’m high risk due to heart and kidney issues. But I’m excited.

If you have the green light for surgery, your team must believe that you are ready! Sending lots of healing energy your way, and please check in here on the forums after your surgery to let us know ho

Thank you. I know the doctor has said I may spend the night in ICU after surgery so I can be closely monitored but he is willing to do the surgery. I have kidney disease and the anesthesia may put me in temporary kidney failure and I have a heart block that needs a pacemaker but cardiology wanted to wait till after this surgery since it was already scheduled when we discovered the heart block when my heart paused for 5 seconds (they think it was a side effect of one of my medications)

Wishing you the best of luck. Please let us know how you're doing as soon as you're able to do so.

Wishing you a safe and boring surgery and an easy time in the hospital!! I look forward to hearing how it went!

How exciting !! You'll be fine. Take advantage of the expert care you'll get at the hospital & enjoy it while you can :)

Congratulations on your will power to get this far, you will be fine. Its one of the safest surgeries around. To me you are doing the hardest part, the pre op diet really sucks. Let us know how you get on
