Got my surgery date for August 15th! 10 day all liquid diet starts on the 5th and I am nervous about it, but mostly excited because it means surgery is right around the corner. Any other August people in here? How are you? What are you doing to prepare for the big day? Look forward to hearing everyone's story

I'm booked for my Roux-en-Y on Aug 28 with my pre-admission appointment on Aug 14 which is the same day I start my 2 week liquid diet.

Scheduled for 8/2. Excited and nervous.

From my family doctor referring me into the bariatric program to my surgery date was 6 months to the day.

Where are you located?

I am taking biotin 10,000 mcg, vital Proteins Collagen with my morning shake, and skin hair and nails supplement now before surgery to hopefully help with that, we shall see

I picked up some biotin as well... Figure I should be starting mine soon as well. I get plenty of protein so that's not a concern. Hopefully after surgery I'll manage the same?

I do too I just take the vital Proteins for the collagen Peptides

I am also have been dxed with Barrett's and am partially doing this to solve my GERD issues. Fingers crossed that this will help with some of the issues I have that we think are GERD related (chronic cough, chronic sinus infections, post nasal drip, etc)
