Had my 1s psych consult & I'm going in Monday for the EGD scope.. Getting nervous & excited!

The EGD was easy! My team was great for it.

WHen do you think you will be having surgery?

I have no idea. I'm hoping by the end of the year but I'm not sure how long the process takes.

Nov 3 I am having gastric sleeve

the process varies.. insurance longer than self pay usually

Hello and welcome. The length of the process varies a great deal from clinic to clinic but more so from one insurance to the other. Self pay usually have the fastest process. Your team should be able to give you some idea how long it will be though.

Hi! I’m on a similar path. I have my endoscopy Thursday and my psych eval Monday! I’m excited

My endoscopy was yesterday. A piece of cake! The hardest part was the IV, my veins like to hide! Nurse suggested for the actual surgery I ask for ultrasound IV help as I/we'll have 2 IV's.. The did find a hiatal hernia :( but i think everything else looked good. Will know more next week at follow-up..
