Does anyone have any experience with Dr. Jeffry Romero Manzano in Tijuana? My surgery was scheduled with Dr. Verboonen but now they switched me to Dr. Jeffry and I don't know anything about him. I do know that he has a lot less experience than Dr. Verboonen. Now I'm really nervous.

I can switch the date with the surgeon's office but I can't change my leave dates at work. I'm using vacation time, not sick leave. I had to request the time off a long time ago. So, unfortunately that's not an option for me.

I assume they are in the same practice? I’m sure if the other doctor is very good and well known they would not work with another doctor who wasn’t also very good. Reputation is everything for an established doctor and they wouldn’t risk their good one for someone who wasn’t just as good or promising as them. So your research though and if you don’t feel comfortable change your date. Even if you have to wait a while to have your surgery. You need to trust your doctor.

Sounds like a bait and switch to me! I know Dr. Verboonen but have never heard of this other surgeon.
