    I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield and yes you can call your insurance company. Ask them if your prior authorization for bariatric surgery was approved. They will also let you know if it has been sent

    I would think so. I called to see if my insurance covered it. But not to see if it was approved after. But if you are worried it's not going to hurt anything to call

    Yes you can call and ask anything about your coverage. Mine (Cigna) also sent a letter of approval.

    I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield and yes you can call your insurance company. Ask them if your prior authorization for bariatric surgery was approved. They will also let you know if it has been sent to the provider.
