I had the sleeve in 2016 and never had Gerd until the surgery. Got bypass in September of 2022, and it feels so good not to have Gerd and take nothing, and I have reached my goal weight....Go for the bypass..

I just got , so I just told them the same way I put it on, but the opposite .They never ask why I was fat...

I had my surgery on 16 of September and have loss 23 pd and in the same situation your in. I am getting worried to.

Yes they gave me wrong documents and I made sure and ask my dr.on my follow up appointment and showed him my papers.

I think my dr.fix my hernia than did the adjustable gastric Band,I thought I was going to bypass I didn't ask for band but I will find out Thurs.

Revision to bypass and hernia repair in 5days...I know more this time....I will get to my goal weight this time 177....

My dr. Told me how he was going to write it up to get it approved for the hiatal hernia and to bypass.And I got approved and didn't have to go back through all that paperwork again, My surgery is sept.16 2022 I'm so happy !!! This Gerd get on my nerves I've never had this.

Now I'm just waiting on the Nurse to call and schedule things..

How long does it take to get approved. After the Dr. has sent it to insurance company.

Because of the Gerd and high blood pressure and I didn't lose much weight . But I also didn't have Gerd at all when I had my sleeve .

Yes crossing all fingers. I had a very good dr.when he did my sleeve just wish I would have gotten the bypass in first place...but oh well that life. He willing to do it again...

I went for all my testing on July the 7th for my Gerd and went to see my doctor and hes gonna write Things up and send them to my insurance company he said we're not gonna put it down as weight loss I also have a hernia and I have high blood pressure so hopefully I will get approved.

I'm hoping my Dr will give it to me .This Gerd gets on my last nerves. I DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE THE SURGERY.

Didn't most of yall go with the same dr.when you had your Revision?

I have about the same problem you have!!Went in at 270 and only lose 70 pds with the sleeve .I'm doing my work on having the revision because of the GERD...it is bad, I didn't have any of this before the surgery.

Let me know how it goes I'm having the same issue since my surgery i never had Gerd before this surgery .

Go for the gastric, wish I would have gotten that one instead of the sleeve..I never had problems with heartburn until I got the sleeve done..but I'm still happy
