Hey Everyone. I’m pre-op and it seems like it’s taking forever to get a surgery date and to even get approved! What seems to be the hold up and is it because of Medicaid I have to wait longer?

That’s not a question that can be answered by anyone but your provider/surgeon.

Have you asked them?

If it helps it took them almost a month to approve mine. Yeah. They told me two weeks and it took three and a half. I was anxious the entire time and thought they wouldn't approve it for some reason. I also had Medicaid, for reference.

@NovaLuna Yes! I’ve been anxious and also becoming withdrawn because I was losing faith! Yet I’m back and having discipline if anything.

KimA-GA I was asking as in general and in support,not medically love. I’ve already been told why medically,I haven’t held up my part with schedules.
