Have you looked at local groups on meetup.com? Those can be a good way to meet some folks in person with similar interests.

Hopefully more people around your age will reply to this but I would also ask your team if they have a support group or if they can get you in touch with anyone. Maybe they can pass your information on to some of their younger patients.
