Has this ever happened?

Hey everyone -

I was banded at the end of November and everything has been fine. But last night I woke up to go to the bathroom and when I laid back down I felt intense pain in my abdomen. If I stretched my abdomen as far out as it would go the pain subsided, but as soon as I let the air out the pain came back. However, once I rolled onto my side the pain subsided. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Should I call my doctor?

"Has this ever happened" - I'm sure it has, but it would take way too much research to actually answer that question.

I personally have not experienced that.

If you're concerned enough about it to post here asking, then I'd wager you're concerned enough about it to call your doc. If you're EVER in doubt, call your doc. Whether or not an anonymous bunch o' people on the internet thinks you should call is 110% irrelevant.
