I would talk to your surgery center. Sometimes belching and pain can be a sign that you're eating too fast, but I would talk to your surgery center to be sure. I know GERD is common after sleeve, but I haven't heard of it being an issue after bypass.

Good luck!

Indigestion could be caused by heartburn. Belching could be heartburn, or it could be caused by eating too fast. Some people experience this when they are full. Others have runny-nose, etc.

Perfectly normal. You might try to eat and drink slower and see if that improves it any. I don't belch but I get a lot of air with drinking and eating and my stomach gurgles A LOT at 3 years post-op but it doesn't bother me.
