thanks, i just want to keep it close to where i live so the refill trips wont be such a problem. hope your surgery is fantastic.

Howdy! I was banded in February by Dr. Micheal King in Oxford. I highly recommend him! You may want to check out the Mississippi group under Local Support also. Good luck!

Mary

I was also banded by Dr. King in April and have really been VERY pleased with my care. I live and work in Tupelo and our hospital has just launched a brand new bariatric center with Dr. Terry Pinson as the surgeon. They use a team approach and many of my friends have now been banded by Dr. Pinson and are having wonderful results with great support by the team. Look into both programs! I would highly recommend either one!

I am from North Mississippi and was banded by Dr. Kirshenbaum in Denver, Co.. I would however recommend Dr. Byars in Oxford, Ms. I did a consult with him and he is super and has a really good reputation. He is currently in the same group as Dr. King. The reason I went out to CO. is because I am self pay and Dr. K was about 5 grand cheaper.

I was very impressed with Dr. K. and would do it again and recommend anyone to him. If I wasn't self pay I would surely see Dr. Byars.
