Up and Down...

Hi All..........

I go tomorrow for my first 6 week out fill. This morning I gained a pound and a half, although my calorie intake remains well under 1000 per day, usually around 800. I keep a food journal and make sure I get plenty of protien, lo carbs, ect.... Is this the norm before you get your first fill?? Its kinda of frustrating to come from eating as much as I was before surgery to this amount and have a gain!!:):help:

It could be just water retention. I gained 6lbs in water over a course of 3 days and just waited. A few days later it came right off and took a friend with it. Don't get down yet! Hang in there and see what happens after you fill.

Hi Connie - I gained 1kg/2.2lbs on the scales last week, but some how I'm fitting into some clothes that I couldn't before that. I'm wondering if it is muscle gain, as I have been walking and doing weights. Could this be your weight gain?

I also find I put on about 2kgs or 4.4lbs of Fluid a few days before I'm due for my period, then it's gone the next week.

Like MrsJingles said - Hang in there..
