Im kinda nervous about my surgery, i kind of know what to expect, but if anyone has some tips or anecdotes about the week after surgery i would apreciate it

I watched a lot of YouTube videos about preparing for surgery and found it very helpful. I also read Dr Duc Vuong’s Gastric Sleeve Success before surgery. His videos are extremely helpful, too.

being nervous before a surgery is totally normal! I've had four surgeries in my life, and I still get nervous before them! It'll go fine, though. I found my RNY to be a really easy surgery - yes, it involved lots of life changes - but very little pain and an easy recovery. Although that's not universal, it seems to be true of a majority of us. I was surprised - I was expecting much worse.

I am having it gastric bypass on July 29th.

I am very nervous also.
