Hello, in the early stages of researching my options and coverage. Appears that neither my nor my husbands insurance covers bariatric surgery. It looks like this is fairly standard for Florida insurance plans (and that many other states have mandated its coverage, but not some of the southeast states). mine covers it, have Aetna *** open Access. Have a date for Sep. It really depends if your employer buys the package that includes the procedure and offers it to their employees. Im in Lee County
