I was banded on December 4th...and I have been craving everything in the world. I look at things and think to myself well maybe if I just chew that up really really well I could have that. I was about 2 steps away from making some eggs to eat today. There is no way that people have not cheated at some point in this first 7 to 10 days of liquids. Please tell me I am not the only one who feels crazy over this.

You're not crazy. You have to get creative. I mainly lived on Jello, pudding, applesauce, cottage cheese (with avacado mushed up and mixed in), and a ton of different Soups, fruit smoothies, Crystal Lite, Low sodium V8. You've really got to use some imagination. And trust me, you do not want to whip up some eggs. They may LOOK soft, but believe me, my first scrambled egg experience was my first week of solids (after day 30) and it dot STUCK horribly!

Thanks to everyone for showing support. I know I can make it through I just have to be strong. Even though I wanted the eggs I had some suger free Jello instead. After eating that it took away my hunger for the most part. I only have like 4-5 more days of liquids. I know that I can do it. I just have to know that I am working towards a bigger goal. Tonight I am going to have some Soup. That should be good. <img src="http://www.LapBandTalk.com/images/smilies/happy.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" smilieid="60" class="inlineimg" /> Thanks for the support once again.

Hey Kris, I noticed that you had your surgery at Potomac Hosp (in another thread), and I was curious about how long you were on liquids. According to their brochure, you'd only be on liquids for about a week. Right? When was your first post-op visit? And this may be a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway... is your band empty post-surgery until your first fill? How's it all going? I have my initial consultation there in 2 weeks. My PCP is in total support of this surgery. Yay!

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
