Hey everyone! I'm new here, just had vsg last Thursday 4/29. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar...I noticed about 2 days after surgery that when I take a deep breath, I get a sharp pain in my right upper abdominal area. It's not unbearable, but it is uncomfortable. If you experienced this, how long did it last? Did you get it checked out? I saw my primary care Dr yesterday and she mostly brushed it off saying there's a lot going on in there right now and it should subside. Did bloodwork and it was fine. I'm sure I'm just scaring myself and trying to rush my healing, but I am genuinely curious if this has happened to anyone else.

I think the doc is right. Just keep doing what they tell you.

Probably gas
