Searching in STL

Hello every one. I am interested in having the lap band procedure and have been researching for some time now. I have known for a while now that my current insurance carrier has an exclusion against it. While researching, I found out that one of the area hospitals associated with this insurance has a doctor that specializes in bariactric procedures!! I find that very odd!! So as of now I am currently trying to find a new insurance carrier. What should I look for in the policy? Is there a special wording? Or should I look for exclusions to weight loss? I need help!
