My urologist recommended adding 4 ounces of lemon juice to my drinks daily. Citric acid helps prevent stones from forming and can possibly partially dissolve existing stones. I would add lemon juice to a glass of sugar free lemonade.

A tablespoon of cider vinegar a day is supposed to also help. I think you can dilute it in water if you can’t tolerate the vinegar burn.

Bless your heart. I've had them twice and they were very painful. Praying you have a speedy recovery.
