Hello Everyone!

I didnt realize there were groups by month!

Anyway, my fiance and I were banded on the 23rd. I have lost 12 lbs pre-op, another 12 lbs since surgery. 30lbs gone forever! :clap2: Its really exciting, and I cant wait to start an exercise routine. (Did I just say that??!?!? lol) My fiance's loss is a little slower compared to mine, which I think is odd but we're not complaining! :biggrin1:

I hope to hear from everyone! :(

Congratulations and welcome! I know how you feel about exercise. I have a tough time fitting it into my schedule but the semester ends next week (I'm a community college professor) so I should be able to spend some time getting a routine going before the next semester begins January 14.

Now, your weight loss sounds great, but since I teach math, can I ask how 12 plus 12 = 30? :)

I meant 18 since surgery.

Now its 20 since.. :clap2:

Im actually a little concerned bec its so much weight in a short amount of time! Not complaining though. :)

Glad you found us!! :) I'm Wendy. I look forward to getting to know you.

Wow, that's amazing! I'm not weighing myself at home but I'm pretty sure I haven't lost that much and I was banded on November 1st! Way to go! :clap2:

Welcome and WOW 18 pounds since surgery on the 23rd. That is amazing. I had surgery on 11/20 and I've only lost 6 pounds. What was your post-op diet?

Thanks Longhorn!! :P

SkinnyJill, thank you!! My post op diet is divided into: 5 days of Clear liquids, 5 days of thin liquids, 10 days full liquids (which my fiance and I are at now), 10 days of mushies and then on to regular food.

Its a little tough dealing with head hunger. Im craving crunchy food. Something substantial!! hahaha. But, for me, the loss is definitely a motivation to not cheat.

Thanks again, and good luck!!!

Wow - WTG! You're doing awesome!! Welcome to the group, too!
