Does cold weather effect a lapband?

Sounds like a silly question, but it's very cold tonight in New England. Does the band get effected by extremely cold weather?

I was very tight when I was trying to eat supper and it was just Soup. I usually get looser as the day goes on so I was surprised that I was so tight at supper time.

Please let me know if you've heard anything about cold weather and the band.

Thanks.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Sue

It is NOT that cold here but with AC on in the building and 65 outside I am FROZEN - blame it on the thyroid as well- but cannot eat - My muscles are all tight trying to stay warm and just can't eat or drink but a little at a time. COld weather may not directly affect the band but your body might with cold weather/

Im in Illinois and I have been whining with it being a high of the 50s. Not looking forward to the winter at all. Me and a few girls were joking about moving to Arizona. I would much rather have the heat than the cold and snow.
