That is something you definitely need to ask your surgeon about. Only they are going to have the answer to that. You don't want to assume on something like that and end up having to get your surgery date rescheduled because you weren't supposed to do so.

They had me get mine right before my surgery along with an DTAP. They said it was due so go get it. But, still I'd ask your Doctor.

My surgery is scheduled for 10/27/20 and I got Flu vax and Tdap yesterday. But always err on the side of caution and ask your surgeon.
