Busy weekend, even busier monday night. Got 39 people coming over for new years eve, when I wasn't even supposed to have a party in the first place.....Oy!

jm-good luck with the party and congrats on the one pound.! What are you serving or is it pot-luck?

Thank goodness potluck. I'm working today and have NO time to prepare.

How are you feeling today?

I'm feeling pretty good if I take my pain meds every 4 hours. I'm hoping to feel better once the swelling goes down some. It'll be nice to get rid of the drains too! I'm going to the Dentist today, because over the weekend I broke-off part of one of my molars and need to see about getting it fixed. Luckily, my Dentist, was able to squeeze me in today.

Hope you have a great party, I'll be ringing in the New Year with my boys.

Ok, I'm getting ready for New Years Eve party at my place, but I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a really fantastic 2008. My resolution is to make healthier choices, and I hope I can share that with all of you in the upcoming year.....:scared:

Hey Jm!!!!!!Happy New Year.

Just watched a tv thing about Boston. You guys should be pretty happy.

The Big Dig is opening, Patriots cant stop winning, Red Sox winning and even the Celtics? are doing well?

You should be on top of the world!

All of you guys HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Once the home gym was assembled yesterday, I got on to try her out. Didn't know how much weight was on it when I went to try the flys...needless to say it was too much and I think I pulled my one of my left triceps. Not too bad, but still feeling it.

An hour and a half at the gym today...shoulder workout. REALLY good workout...pushed my limits well and it felt GREAT.

The gym is closed tomorrow, so I'm hoping to talk hubby into going running. I haven't run to date and I want to see how I might do. Keep me in your prayers that I survive! :faint:

This is a fun group. I hope it's alright if I join in?! Stephanie what brand of protien do you use that has casein in it? I thouoght your information on protien was excellent and will try out the Vitamin Shoppe article on Muscles and the Body. I checked out this thread because Angelnurse had talked about it on another thread. I need some support because I am trying to lose 20 more pounds before my tummy tuck on March 4th. I use the ellipitical about 30 minutes, 6 days a week, train with my trainer 3 days a week and do pilates 2 times a week. I am going to add an additional work out every day until my surgery. My time is limited, so it will probably be the treadmill at home in the evenings. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Are you going to start a January thread or keep this one going? I have been on a plateau for almost 2 months, so I guess I'm going to tweak my diet also. Happy New Year everyone!
