Newly banded in Richmond VA

I was banded in Richmond on 11-19-07, by Dr. Elliot. I'm still feeling hungry after eating at times, and I'm still a bit sore around my port site, especially after long active days, but other than that I'm feeling wonderful! I've already lost 17 pounds since starting the liver shrinking diet, and it is SO exciting because I can really see the results!

My only question is, how long does it take the port site to stop hurting? It's bearable, I just wish it would go away already!

Welcome and Congrats on getting banded! Glad to hear you are doing well. The hunger part gets better after you get a couple of fills. Where did your surgeon place your port? I didn't have much pain in my port area. Hope it gets better soon. 17 lbs is amazing, keep up the good work.

Thanks! It's on my left side, on my ribcage. I can actually feel it in there when I rub my fingers across it, which is sort of creepy in itself, but I can deal with it )
