When I add protein powder to my water & shake it, I get a lot of foam. Do I have to drink the foam too to get in all the protein the drink is supposed to supply? This feels like a really silly question!

I do but I wait until it settles down before drinking it.

Does adding it to water change the taste?

I’m mixing in unflavored protein powder & an individual Crystal Light water powder and I can’t tell any difference in taste.
