Cannot quench my thirst

Hello everyone -

I just signed up today to this platform -- so glad it is here! My surgery was on July 24th and since then, I have not been able to quench my thirst. It is driving me crazy. I have tried water, crystal light, decaf tea, ice chip, and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

thank you-

I felt the same way, and my only advice is (unfortunately) just give it some time. With the water restrictions before and after eating, I felt thirsty all the time. It does get better with time and you are able to drink more!

Just sip, sip, sip. As your stomach heals, you'll be able to get more fluid in and feel less thirsty. It's hard at first, but you can do it. ❤️ Just stick to it as best you can.

Maybe try a no sugar electrolyte drink. I bought Propel Zero powder and drink a couple of those a week and they seem to help more than just straight water.

Thank you very much! I will try that.
