given it's only been six weeks since your surgery, it may not be due to the surgery - it may have just gotten worse on its own. I have osteoporosis. I don't know if I had it before surgery or no

I was diagnosed recently. No matter dear what caused it or if it’s just normal for my age. I take my multi, 2 vit D caps and I had to have a prolia injection

I had to look up what ostopenia was, I wasn't familiar with the term. I'm a year post-op and still take two calcium soft chews daily.
Hi guys, I know I have to talk to my surgeon and have a call in to him, but I thought I'd see if anyone here has any experience with this...
I was diagnosed with osteopenia 4 years ago. I just recently had a new Dexa scan which shows it's a bit worse now. I had an RNY 6 weeks ago and am already taking calcium supplements but think maybe I need more.
If you have had this problem, are you taking additional supplements? Thanks for any info you can share.
