So, December 18 is the big day, however, I’m beginning to get super nervous. So afraid of the unknown. What if something goes wrong? What if I don’t lose any weight and have to continue my bp meds? Thank you! I’m glad this forum exists, so that I can meet people like you!

I'm sure you'll do great. Finding this forum really will prepare you for what to expect and how to cope with it. There are some negative peeps here, and I don't think the downers are inherently mean, they are going through a rough patch, but mostly a bunch of folks that DO care how it goes for you, and after you are "on the other side" with us you'll help the next batch of WLS newbies, Glad you joined us!

Thanks so much!! I’m so glad I joined as well. Can’t wait to share what I have learned throughout this journey with others.

Remember, the entire procedure, from admitting to actual surgery, is a few hours out of your life... compared to a lifetime of a new you!
