I bought a Magic Bullet - a mini food chopper. I've thrown in anything from egg salad to chicken to steak to hot dogs in that thing. Several people recommended it to my at my doc's office and now I use it all the time.

Congratulations on getting banded!

I've never pureed egg salad or tuna. I have read that some folks use tools they already have in their kitchen like a blender or food processor to puree foods. I used a Magic Bullet before, too. I wouldn't put warm or hot foods in it though--pressure can build up and then POP! You'll have food splattered everywhere!!

Good luck!!!

egg salad you can just mush really well with a fork or potatoe masher. but you can do fine with a average blender or food processor.
