Pain - 2 months after surgery

I am suddenly experiencing a frequent sharp intermittent pain at the location of the main cut. Saw my Surgeon but he says it will go away. So he didn’t seem bothered. Just wondering if anyone has had pain months later and if it resolved on it’s own? Or what should I do to confirm it’s part of recovery?

Secondly has anyone had a scan post surgery to check your insides to ensure all is well post surgery? Should I insist on a scan? Just want to be well.

It could be the nerves growing back together.

I have pain in on the left side. I can't sleep on that side at all. Does anyone think it could be a leak? I am one month post op.
