Hi, can anyone tell me how much Protein One should be eating per day?
My nutritionist said 64-70 grams per day. I get 64 in 1 shake. Whey protein shake at Wal Mart by Six Star. I got tired of strawberry but live vanilla cream. Hope this helps. I'm 1 month post op 22 lbs down.

I don't think a person can absorb 64 grams of protein all at once. My doctor recommends eating protein rich meals or snacks 4 to 5 times a day. My protein needs are higher because (1) I am not absorbing protein well and (2) I exercise a lot. I aim for 90 plus grams a day.

64 grams+

True everyone is different and I for one can't just chug down the 64 oz shake. I drink it throughout the day. After my sleeve I feel full really fast so it takes me a few hours at least half a day. And I just started so after I start exercising and then going back to the doctor things might change but with taking things slow as far as the puree and what your stomach can tolerate it is just a suggestion.

64 grams+
Yes. Grams. My doctor says we can't absorb that much protein at once.
