Pre-Op Diet

Any recommendations for protein shakes (preferably grab and go shakes) that don’t have lactose in them that still taste good??? My surgery center has a brand they recommend but they don’t sit well and I don’t think I’ll be able to use them for the month pre surgery and for who knows how long after. Any recommendations would be helpful!!

I am lactose intolerant and enjoy the Ensure Max Protein ready to drink shakes. 30 gm protein and 1 gm sugar. 150 calories. Only comes in chocolate and strawberry.

I use lactose free GNC Lean Shake 25 premade. They come in a variety of flavors.

Hey @ Briswife15, my RNY sister, I have Good News for You! Ensure Max also comes in Mixed Berry, of course I know this because I live only 50 miles from Abbott Labs , the concocter of All Things Ensure, but I get mine at WalMart, so probably Sam's Club, their Big Brother and Wal-Mart.com would also stock,it. Got some sitting on my counter awaiting its chance to get refrigerated and then drank. Happy Flavor Addition to You!
