So sorry you're going through this. I've heard gout is painful.
So, I've developed gout from the high protein diet.
The provider came to my home and diagnosed me. She prescribed me prednisone because my toe is all swollen.
Took half a pill at noon and dinner bs was 228.
My foot feels way better, but I have neuropathy and now my feet are burning.
To take the steroids or stop? I think stop. I can deal with the pain and try and eat a low purine diet.
Anyone else deal with these things due to surgery?
