I had the Sleeve in 2015. I have been having issues with acid reflux and muscle cramping in my stomach. I was working on each issue separately but I decided to get an upper GI because I have been considering converting to the bypass to fix the reflux. When they did the GI they saw something they didn't recognize. It looks like a half deflated balloon above my stomach. It could be the thing that is coming out of stomach and causing my pain. Does anyone know what this could be? Fixing my reflux may now be on the back burner.

I got a call from the nurse my sleeve is misshaped I am going for a Endo April 30

A hernia possibly, I’ve had 2 since my surgery in 2014 and had both repaired.

I have seen 3 doctors and none thought it was a hernia. The doctor that did the GI said he didn't see a hernia either. Something comes out and it causes a severe muscle cramp it is like a charlie horse in my stomach.

Interested in finding what this could be? Please keep us updated, sounds miserable when you have it?!

I read my report and it says incomplete staple line from the sleeve. It created a pouch. How will they fix it?

I just came back from the doctor he is going to covert to the bypass and fix the sleeve pouch.

Well they did pay attention after all, so glad he says he can fix it and also give you your bypass. Have you gotten a firm date or is he going to go for a day when he doesn't have a lot of other things that need his attention??

I need to go back on the 6th to discuss the next step. I had the Endo today and the pouch is too big on one end. He was going to shave it and decided he should do the bypass.

I am getting the bypass, remove a hernia and shave the pouch.
