No weight loss in first week

Hi all.

My gastric sleeve surgery was on March 17. In the first three days the scale was 10 pounds higher which I knew it is due to surgery and all the IV. But today, 1 week after, I lost the 10 pounds and I am back at my orgional pre-OP weight.

Is that normal? It sorta burst my bubble. How much did you lose first week?

Don't worry. The first few weeks are weird with transitioning from the trauma of surgery and restricted liquid diet, etc. I lost 7 pounds the first week, 5 pounds the second week, then stalled for two weeks while transitioning so soft and solid foods. Each body is different and it just takes a little while for our bodies to catch up with what we did to them.
