Just got home as well. Yeah have gas pains and I can’t seem to really get stuff without having the burps. Other than that I am fine but this is really annoying

Meet too. I feels a bit surreal that it’s about to happen. Sure has taken long enough to get here. Good luck. We share the same surgery date.

Sure has been a long time coming but I’m sure the rewards will make it better. Awesome man I go in at 5:30 am believe start time is 7:00 am. I’m ready man ready to start this journey.

Bring it on!!! May 13th can’t come fast enough for me

Nice, we will literally be going through things at the same time. Are you on full liquid diet now? Mine is high protein, no carbs until 7 days out.

Yes, I gained inches (maybe girth too) and no longer have trouble maintaining an erection.

Awesome brother what a feeling time to reset and enjoy the benefits. Congrats

I don’t know about you, but I almost feel like I have VSG fatigue. By that, I mean I think I’ve looked at every video on YouTube dealing with guys going thru this as well as read this site for the past 12 months. It almost feels anticlimactic getting to the end of my pre-op journey and starting my post-op. (Funny side note, my auto correct changed “pre-op” to “Oreo”...oh the irony).

I’m not complaining, just pontificating on a Saturday night.

No I feel the same way man. I actually waited longer than a year to get the surgery. I was trying to go through the Va and it’s like they didn’t want me to have the surgery but they rather me take blood pressure pills, continue failed weight loss programs, sleep apnea and etc. it’s been a real trial for me and I’m just thankful there is light at the end of this short tunnel now, but this process had me really upset with the VA man. I’m going to use this tool to get back to myself. When I retired in 2012 the weight just pile on and now I can finally start to get back on track

Started my liquid diet today. What y’all drinking on

I saw you posted this on another thread, but it said post op. I started my Pre op liquid diet today. Drinking broth, water, protein shake and sugar free popsicles!! Not as bad yet as I anticipated! Surgery in a week!!

Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Luckily, my liquid diet isn’t required to do until 24 hours before surgery. I’m still on the high protein/low carb. I do use the Premier Protein drinks that I get from Costco. I had my preadmission testing today so everything seems to still be on track.
