My EGD is scheduled for Tuesday. Today, I woke up with a sore throat, which is usually an indicator I'm coming down with a cold. Do y'all think they'd still be able to do the endoscopy if I'm sick?

As long as you can breathe through your nose or don't have any respiratory issues you should be fine. Although I would still call and ask them about it just in case.

I felt REALLY icky the Saturday before my sleeve surgery and had the same anxiety (surgery was scheduled for Monday am). But luckily for me it passed and all was fine. I was sucking on zinc tablets every 3-4 hours for that first 24 hours!
