@Girly51 that’s great! How are you feeling now? I’m having a hard time sleeping thru the night but not because of pain or anything. Feel a little bloated but happy I get to have protein shake today

Last night was up peeing every hour. At airport now On my way! Home.

Hi Marchers! I’m 1 week post-op today and feeling great! So far I’m down 14lbs in 1 week which is unbelievable! I’m off of all pain meds including Tylenol. I’m tolerating water, decaf coffee, Protein shakes, SF pudding & jello, broth, cream soup (strained) and even very soupy grits. As of day 3 it’s been pretty easy getting all of my 64oz of fluids. I basically just sip all day. I’m nervous only because I HAVENT encountered anything that made me feel too full or sick since day 2 post-op. I have another week of this above “liquid diet” then I get 2 weeks of soft/puréed food. My energy levels are higher each day. I even did 10000 steps on 3/9 without really trying. Good luck to all of the pre-op & post op folks out there! Follow your doctor/nurse’s orders and I’m sure you’ll all do great also!

Wow! What an inspiring post! My surgery is in 2 weeks, ans I pray I can have smooth sailing as well! Happy for you!

I also feel amazing. I’m a week and a half out. My surgery was 2/28.
So my symptoms got worse and I went to the ER... turns out I have a kidney stone! They gave me some meds and I’m now feeling better... whew!!

So sorry to hear about kidney stones. From what I’ve seen from patients in the ER where I work it’s some of the worst pain. I hope you heal quickly.

That's actually good news in a way, because it's not a leak or anything else to do with your pouch. You'll be back on track in no time!

Thanks everyone. I’m feeling much better today! ?

How is everyone doing post op so far. Waiting to be discharged now. Completely different experience than I had with the sleeve. And I slept last night without reflux waking me up! And no reflux at all today. That hasn’t happened in the past two years. Quite sore this morning, but I’m up and walking. I’m optimistic. Hope everyone is doing well.
Hello all
The last 2 days have been great
Haven’t had any pain meds or any bad effects at all but I also haven’t pooped since before the surgery which was last Thursday thinking I might have to do this move move today down 4 pounds but I’m not worried I’m getting my water and protein in

That is awesome news!!! So happy for you and the relief from reflux! Monday is my day and I can’t wait for this to be over. Good luck!!
Thanks NewChiGirl. And good luck to you!

I had it on March 1st. Full bypass. I lost 60+ lbs before and have lost another 15 since.

Pills and fluids have been a problem but hard-boiled eggs have been great.
