Severe Abdominal Bloating - What are the causes?

Does anyone have severe bloating and if you do what is the cause?

I have had my band for 9.5 years and lately I have noticed that my stomach blows up like a balloon. Yesterday I looked and felt about 10 months pregnant and it was very uncomfortable.

I know there are some common causes:-

Soda, lactose or gluten intolerance. I know it wasn't soda or gluten as I hadn't had any of those. I did have a shake for breakfast so possibly that could be the issue but I am wondering what the other possibilities are? Has anyone had similar symptoms and then gone on to find out it was caused by a slip or erosion or anything else band related?

My band is coming out on Thursday so hopefully I will get some answers then but in the meantime I'm curious
