catching a cold before surgery

Anyone get sick before surgery date and did they postpone or keep your date?I am scheduled for November 19th and I think I am getting sick.I thought it was just allergy but not sure .I guess i will see how I feel Monday and call the surgeon .

      If just a cold and you have no fever within 48 hours you should be fine.

      I had got a sore throat and lost my voice the day before surgery and my surgery was November 7th. My doctor told me as long as you aren’t congested and or running fever it was okay.
