I'm not sure if I missed your initial thread but what are you doing for your "liver shrink diet'"?

I drink a protein shake in the morning then i get a mid morning snack of a tennis ball size fruit and a 4oz low fat yogurt,Then for lunch i drink a protein shake and i get a mid afternoon snack of a tennis ball size fruit and a 4oz yogurt,Then about 6:30 i have dinner which consists of a 3oz piece of lean meat and a salad with 2oz of fat free dressing and then before 8:00 i eat my last tennis ball size fruit and 4oz lowfat yogurt!! Thats it

Do you know how much calories you are getting? Just curious.

That's not bad at all. When is your surgery?

My probably pre and post op is sticking to what I'm supposed to. I do good about a few days then cheat big time. I know if I did that and kinda detoxed but took out the fruit I would do good. It's just a matter of sticking to it.

Aww.. My high school bff birthday is the 27th. Mine was yesterday. I keep getting mad at myself and doing better and better as time goes on. I struggled with my fluids now I get in about 90-120oz a day and my protein is at minimum finally.

Have you tried flavor enhancers like Mio or Crystal Lite? I use the Walmart brand. But I also have an infuser bottle and I've had so much fun playing with the different flavors.

It's a fancy looking water bottle where you can put fruit and herbs in this little container thing to separate it from completely mixing but it gives your water a flavor without unhealthy additives and extra loaded calories. I've put strawberry, lime, and mint. I've used altogether not necessarily mixed raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, pineapple, lime, lemon, mint, thyme, and cayenne. It's fun figuring out what I like. my boys also try them. But after the cayenne, they always ask if it's the spicy water.

I lost 15 pounds on my liver-shrink, did it the entire month of August, knew my surgeon found NASH when he examined me in mid-July so I commuted myself to shrink it down. For each week you liver shrink it decreases 2.4% in size so mine decreased between 12 and 15%, and it made it easier for Dr Needleman and less pain for me post-surgery. And I was very proud of ME that I could do it. And you will have your own Pride Moments on your journey, remember not to always judge yours by others, we each make our own kind of ? in weight loss, and it is the Right Song for Each of Us!???

I'm judging myself by me. I know what I'm capable of. That's why I get mad at myself. I do so good then mess it up. Ugh. But I need it because little by little I'm doing better.
